The Krotites created one of thirteen Aquarian civilizations prior to their annihilation. Although they have a humanoid form, they had blue skin and blunt tiger-like snouts, and donned heavy armor primarily.
The Krotites were a martial race that valued power and conflict. Warfare and combat were heavily engrained into their civilization in the forms of regular tournaments and the ability to challenge the ruling power into combat, with the winner being granted the title, along with their ability to see the light of tomorrow. In fact, they were so infatuated with these values, that any kind of mercy or kindness was seen as weakness, as was the case in the imprisonment of Krel, about which you can read in certain Aquarian inscriptions inside the Energy Temple. In addition, they revered and worshipped Nerhaji, a bestial god that granted them the ability to distort the Verse into explosive energy, which they would make heavy use of in their battles, along with traditional weaponry fit for underwater warfare such as tridents and spears.
This led to the Krotites developing an expansionist nature, seeking to conquer the waters of Aquaria for the glory of the Krotite Empire. Their first step - and last, as fate would have it - would be to march into the territory of the Erulians, The Song Cave, where they would wage a bloody war against the weavers of the Verse. But then, at the end of the battles and at the moment the dust settled, the Krotites disappeared entirely. It is speculated that theree are only 2 possible explanations; either the Erulians came up with a masterful plan to take the Krotites down with them... or a greater being had a hand in their destruction.
